It's a commercial obviously. Make your own gifts for Sinterklaas. Not to be confused with Santaclaus. The similarities are remarkable but the dutch folks have Sinterklaas on the 5th of december, including gifts, but Christmas eve is more a social family gathering thing without gifts.

Anyways, a few nights before Sinterklaasevening children can put their shoe in the livingroom and in the night Sinterklaas on his white horse aptly named "mould" will gallop across your roof and his evil minions of doom will go down the chimney into your livingroom and will then leave something in the shoe. If you have been good the past year, you will receive candy. If you've been bad, you get a bag of salt. If you've been really bad, you get put into a bag and taken back to Spain where Sinterklaas has taken up residence.
From this picture it appears that if you've been a terrible bastard all year, you get an IED in your shoe and they take turns defecating on your shoe, which they then sprinkle with candy just to show 'you could have had candy, but now it's all dirty and gross and wasted, haha'
