No offence Rob, but i just like anyone disagreeing with you for entertainment valve ;).
But seriously, the few things that actually get me pissed of is driving (and walking with crowds (especially if there are trolleys involved) - same sort of things behind both), especially when I'm inconvenienced while doing so!
Now I know cyclists have just as much right to use the road (legally at least :P (cheap one there)), but they're just so slow! (in comparison to a car). And i especially get pissed of by these pseudo-cyclists, you know the ones that are wearing tracksuits riding some piece of junk that really should be used. I can handle real cyclists, people that know what they're doing (you can tell the ones, they've got the gear, they've got their funny little riding clothes). But these pseudo-cyclists don't have a clue whats going on! They serve everywhere, they never signal what the hell they're doing with turns etc (which regular cyclists can be known to do also, which is a danger/annoyance), and they've just a complete danger on the road! These people shouldn't be even allowed on the road, i had to pass a test and get a licence to be able to drive on the road, I want to get a motorbike soon, I’m going to have to pass a test and get a licence to ride that on the road. If you want to ride a bicycle on the road, you should have to get a licence if you ask me, to ensure you’re not going to be a danger to other road users (or yourself).
I don’t know what its like everywhere else, but here (Aust) you can’t pass a cyclists in the same lane as you (as in its illegal to do so, regardless whether theres enough room to do so or not).
But anyway, that’s my rant done (I can’t help but have a little go when things come up about driving).
But please don’t take any offence to this rant Soicjuabba (or anyone else reading!), is not directed at you. I’m sure every cyclists reading that uses the road is always safe and courteous.
Who's going to clear away the bodies...that's what I want to know.
