Oh they stole two things... One was the docking cradle for my GPS, probably the reason they broke in in the first place, the other was my bluetooth headset. Now here is where it gets really dumb, the cradle is useless to anyone if you don't know which GPS it fits, the bluetooth headset will run out of power and they didn't take the charger for it which was the only thing in the glove box, and they left behind an external HDD enclosure with HDD in it plus if they'd checked the boot they would have hit the jackpot with around $1500 worth of IT gear and $500 worth of tech tools. Dumb twats... :)
Of course I am now leaving nothing in the car when I am home and when I go out I will also leave nothing in the car. The cops called me today and to clarify the car location in the car park so they can check CCTV footage and told me that two other cars were also hit as well.
So, thanks also have to go out to WJS as well. We will have littlestar writing on her desk soon. It's been great to have the support of the sev community and their willingness to help someone as nice as littlestar when she gets put out of pocket by being nice to me after a break-in in my car.
