well *supposedly* 2008 and I was surprised at just how LITTLE there is out there on the movie. Basically just some announcements of characters and who'll be playing them.
I remember the past movies where info on them leaked like a sieve and we essentially knew everything about the new movie a year in advance...!
I just hope the ST rabid purists don't bag the heck out of it "just because..." when it does come out in the cinemas like everyone did on Enterprise (I liked Enterprise and I can even stommach ST5 now and then when the memory of it dulls over time) as they'll probably not make anymore star trek *anything* if it flops...
