Matthew and I have been blessed, as newly weds. Yes, we just threw down over a grand for a new boxspring, mattress and frame since my childhood bed just aint as good as it used to be (according to my progressively worsening back)...
We just bought a table with two leaves and six chairs for 100$ from someone at work. It's a nice little table, reliable, and not torn to pieces. It'll due fine for newlyweds.
And, we were just offered a loveseat, couch and recliner for FREE. Sure, there's some wear to the surface, but the cushions are fine, and it's nothing some slipcovers can't disguise.
Last month we were given a computer armoire for free.
I tell you, we are blessed. I pray I never forget that, or the kindness of strangers and friends.
