Having arrived at Fort Dix, New Jersey, my schedule has been absolutely crazy. Due to the erratic schedules everyone keeps, training and gear issue jump around all over the calendar to the point that the weekends ain't days off. Due to operational security, I won't go into any specific detail about what I'm doing here, but I'll tell you that I'm running around ragged every day trying to get things done.
The berthing arrangements suck, putting 12 people to a room with a
community bathroom shared by the entire floor, so I don't even get the
illusion of privacy. This is something I'm no stranger to, having been
to boot camp, but that doesn't change the fact that this sucks.
I'm still working on getting the whole wireless internet thing to work, and the line here for the internet at the recreational center is so bad that I hardly feel like coming down here to keep in communication with everyone. Thankfully the line wasn't so long today.
I hope everyone is doing well; I'm as good as I can be.
EDIT: I got the wireless to work!
