Reminds me:
At the weekend my parents were in another store from the company he works for and rang him to tease him by saying that their showroom kitchens (he's a design consultant for such things) were far bigger than his own.
When they got through they found out he'd been trying to ring them (Dad's phone was off) with some good news/bad news.
He'd been hoping to get 'best in the region' for a ten week sales drive they'd had, which would net him £500 of electronics vouchers ($1000 US, €750 etc) with which he could buy a PS3. Unfortunately he hadn't won best in the region though.
But he had won best in the country. Which gets him £2000 worth of holiday vouchers. So that's a few years of holidays sorted out for him! (And with good timing as he's using up all his current vouchers to join his friends on a trip to Mexico - it's costing him only £200 of real money!)
Wrong profession indeed.
