Natasha's EX-BOYFRIEND from 3 years ago (she has only seen him once or twice since then in the street), who is a Police-Officer here in Perth was killed in the line of duty at 12.30am, 15th February 2007.
He was run over by a drunk driver (who was also on cannabis at the time AND had a suspended license...) who failed to stop when Damien stepped out onto the road verge to hail him down for a routine breath-test.
Damien was killed instantly they say.
He leaves behind a wife - he got married 6 months ago. He was 31. The papers say that his wife is extremely grief-stricken (ya think!!!???...)
Natasha is upset... to say the least, lotsa crying etc, but her fiance Daniel is doing well making her feel better by being the loving guy that he is. *nods in approval*
The police are now finding every single road and traffic offence they can think of to throw at this guy, starting with man-slaughter and 'cupable and reckless driving' and going down the list from there. he will be going to jail for a long long time no matter what.
